Make Yahoo your homepage

Your browser "homepage" is the webpage you see each time you open that browser. Start the day with the Yahoo homepage, where you'll find news stories and trending info as well as links to Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Answers, and other important services. Follow the instructions for the specific browser you use.

Firefox

  1. Click the Menu icon Image of the Sidebar menu icon. | select the Preferences icon Firefox settings icon.
  2. From the General page, in the "When Firefox starts" drop-down menu, select Show my home page.
  3. In the "Home Page" field, enter https://ph.yahoo.com/.

Chrome

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Google Chrome settings icon. | select Settings.
  2. Under "On startup," select Open a specific page or set of pages.
  3. Click Set pages.
    - The "Startup pages" window appears.
  4. In the "Add a new page" field, enter https://ph.yahoo.com/.
  5. Click OK.

Safari

  1. Click Safari | select Preferences.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. In the "New windows open with" field, select Homepage.
  4. In the "New tabs open with" field, select Homepage.
  5. In the "Homepage" field, enter https://ph.yahoo.com/.
  6. Close the "Preferences" window.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the More icon Image of the More icon in Microsoft Edge. | select Settings.
  2. Under "Open Microsoft Edge with," select A specific page or pages.
  3. In the "Enter a URL" field, enter https://ph.yahoo.com/.
  4. Click the Save icon Image of the Microsoft Edge Save icon..
  5. Go down and click View advanced settings.
  6. Turn on Show the home button.
  7. From the drop-down menu, select A specific page.
  8. In the "Enter a URL" field, enter https://ph.yahoo.com/.
  9. Click the Save icon Image of the Microsoft Edge Save icon.

  Warning: If your homepage changes and you didn't change the setting, check for and remove any spyware or adware on your computer, immediately.
